Sandpit Groups is based on an instance of Moodle incorporating tools and external plugins not yet available in edna Groups. After successful trialling in the Sandpit, tools will then be made available in Groups. The version of Moodle in use in Sandpit Groups is regularly updated with a view to trialling prior to updating edna Groups.

Users and owners in Sandpit Groups can be individuals or groups of people wishing to trial new tools and technologies.
Registration with edna Single Sign On is required for owners of Sandpit Groups.
