The Feed2JS tool allows the user to input the URL of an RSS feed, select a number of display options, preview what the feed will look like, and then generate html code based on JavaScript to copy and paste into an html page.
An ever increasing number of RSS feeds are being generated from headlines, news items, and blogs. The technology in use on many educational websites does not include an RSS block to take the feed directly.
The edna Feed2JS tool allows the automatic updating of website content from the source of the RSS feed. This reduces website maintenance at the same time as providing visitors to the web site with new relevant information.
